"Mike was our trainer, cheerleader, therapist and friend. He got us through a very challenging time with our puppy, from 400 miles away. He's amazing."
-- Dana L. - Richmond, VA

Virtual Training is available for dogs and their parents, who live beyond 50 miles of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Here's why it may be the solution for you:

Convenience: It's flexible and convenient for both you and your dog. You can schedule sessions at a time that suits you without the hassle of traveling.

Personalized Attention: You will get one-on-one focused attention from Mike during virtual sessions, addressing your specific concerns and offering tailored advice.

Consistency: Regular sessions, even if they're virtual, can help maintain consistency in training, which is crucial for your dog's learning process. Don’t worry, Mike will keep you accountable!

Technology: With the use of live demonstrations, Mike can effectively show you techniques and observe your dog's behavior, offering immediate feedback.

When Should I Start Training?: Puppy training is best started as soon as you bring your new pup home. The earlier you begin, the easier it is to instill good habits and behaviors. Puppies are like sponges, eager to learn, and starting training early helps set a solid foundation for their behavior as they grow.

HOW IT WORKS

Virtual Puppy Training is both demonstrative and consultative. The only difference is that your sessions are conducted live on Zoom.

In-Home Sessions: Each one-hour session consists of learning new cues and commands after reviewing the previous session. You will observe Mike and his dogs for the demonstration, then, you will do those cues with your dog. You will also have ample opportunity to discuss any current issues you may be having and get remedies.

Socialization: You and Mike will discuss your goals and decide where the Field Trips will be -- typically public venues such as Lowe's, shopping centers and parks. Mike will guide you on performing tasks like greeting new people, leash walking and performing different commands.

Text Support: You will have access to Mike -- through your private Group Text  -- even before your first session. Then, you will be able to ask questions throughout the training and for a period of time once your program is complete.

Next Steps: If you choose to move forward with training after the consultation -- there's no obligation to make a decision on the call -- you will receive an Agreement and invoice. Then the Group Text will be established immediately to start asking questions. It will include three homework exercises to prepare for the first session and the Crate & Potty training plans. You will also pick your starting date for the first session.
